We’ll begin with a consultation where I get to know you, your vision, and the space where the artwork will live. This is your chance to share any specific ideas, colors, or emotions you want the piece to convey.

After finalizing the details, I will send you a contract and invoice requesting a deposit payment. 

review & request revisions

I'll keep you updated with work-in-progress pictures as the artwork develops. You are welcome to request revisions during the process, and I will provide progress pictures to ensure satisfaction with the artwork.

submit final payment & receive your artwork

I will provide you with a final preview of the completed artwork, send an invoice for the outstanding balance, and proceed with shipping the artwork to you.

How long does it take to complete a commission?

The time required to complete a commission can vary depending on several factors, including the size and complexity of the artwork, and the current workload in my schedule. However, on average, it can take anywhere from 2 days to a few weeks to complete a commission.

After the artwork is completed, I require an additional 3 days to varnish the painting, which is a protective layer that enhances the colors and provides a glossy finish. If a resin coat is desired, it will require an additional 3 days after the varnish process. The resin coat adds depth and shine to the artwork, and it is a popular option for many of my clients.

I understand that you may have a specific timeline in mind, and I will do my best to accommodate your needs while ensuring that the final artwork meets my high standards of quality. When we discuss the details of your commission, I will provide you with an estimated timeline for completion based on the specific requirements of your project.

Can I request changes or revisions to the commission?

Yes, you will have the opportunity to request revisions or adjustments at this stage to ensure that the final artwork meets your expectations.

Do you offer refunds or cancellations?

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the initial deposit payment will receive a full refund. However, if you choose to cancel the commission after the 24-hour period or after I have started working on the artwork, the deposit will not be refunded. This is because the deposit secures your spot in my queue and covers the costs of materials and time spent on consultation and sketching.

If you have approved the final artwork and the piece has been shipped, no refunds will be offered.

What rights do I have to the commissioned artwork?

As the artist, I retain the copyright and reproduction rights to the commissioned artwork, unless otherwise specified in our contract. As the owner, you will have the right to display the artwork in your home or office

What’s the cost of a commissioned piece?

The price depends on the size and complexity of the artwork. I’ll provide a quote after our consultation to ensure it aligns with your vision and budget.

Do you require a deposit for commissioned work?

Yes, a 25% deposit is required to secure your spot and begin the creative process. The remaining balance is due upon completion.

What if I’m not completely satisfied with the final piece?

My goal is to create art you’ll love! I keep you involved throughout the process to ensure the final piece meets your expectations. Minor adjustments can often be made, but I encourage open communication during the creation process to prevent major changes at the end.

Do you ship commissioned artwork?

Yes, I offer secure shipping options for commissioned pieces. Shipping costs will be included in your final quote.
